TBI chips Auto VS Standard

So I've got a '93 K1500 with the 350 throttle body, originally a 4L60E and 10 bolt. Now it's an NV4500 and the 6 lug 14 bolt. It still has the computer for the automatic transmission (I think why it sometimes idles up when I clutch it) so basically my question is do I need to get a chip for an automatic or standard? And if you have a chip let me know how you like it

I could be wrong but I believe you have to swap your ECM with one for a manual. That’s how it is for some other vehicles I’ve dealt with after a manual swap.

Your PCM's bin file may have an option in Scalars for manual trans. You can go to gearhead-efi and ask someone there for help.
