I have swapped hydroboost on several truck's that had no other mod's to their brakes, the difference is amazing, of course you are almost doubling the brake force psi coming from unit itself.
They made 1/2 ton diesels?!? I didn't think that anybody had made half ton diesels.
I'm also curious about the Master Cylinder Swap. what would be needed? MC, pushrod etc.?So this is a bolt on swap? Are the NBS/OBS brake push rods the same diameter? Same length?
The Nbs Hydroboost unit has a differnet mounting pattern and the pushrod is not the same, it's a different length and the I.D. of the loop is different. I have tried that one myself. Also If you have a vacume booster then a vacume boost NBS MC will fit, but there again the hydroboost MC's do not interchange between NBS and OBS, the O.D. of the end bore is larger on the nbs on physically won't go inside of the OBS hydroboost unit.I'm also curious about the Master Cylinder Swap. what would be needed? MC, pushrod etc.?
I have never heard of F 44? can you elaborate.
