I was just getting to that, do you need any other info?

No. I'm mostly concerned with the "where."

Also, in your last post there, it shows the orifice tube to be in that line behind the firewall. We looked in that area and noticed the line was dimpled like it was meant to hold an orifice tube. We put the orifice tube in the line by the evaporator core just like on pickups, but there wasn't one in there to begin with. So are the Suburbans not supposed to have one there and have it instead in the location of that diagram or should it be in both?

I had to change the one on our 99, and it was at the junction in the engine compartment behind the core support lik in the pic.

Also our burb also didn't have one behind the grille like the truck's do, I found that out the hard way, I just assumed it was the same and unbolted the lines and it wasn't there, then I started searching.

Well, crap. That explains why that line was empty. I'll have to move it, then. Off with the grille again, dammit.

So this illustration is the blower motor and everything inside the rear, right? So where in the illustration is the expansion valve? The picture is small and hard to see. Pick a number...

Yeah I don't know why it has been such a pain.
