LSx... Just saying it's easy once someone has done it, hard part seemed like the wiring, the engine mounts, exhaust and intake were in my opinion, but that's because we were trying to swap one into a 4x4. I just suggest getting the matching transmission with the engine, as a trade for your old one to keep things simpler.

LSx = $$$$ I don't have. It's more expensive to do an ls swap than to put a simple 350 in. I already have just about everything to do a vortec to tbi. Besides I'm not looking to make a lot HP anyway.

Most parts stores stock the wiper boards for the 88-98 trucks.
