There is really not that big of a difference in the two frames. Go measure the frame on your 97 then on your 2000 and tell me how big of a difference there is. With that being said though I am sure he has done some serious work to that truck which would include some new crossmembers thrown in there.

The frames are not any taller on obs 1 tons like they are on nbs stuff but they are considerably thicker metal from the front of the front door back, I was impresses when I compared frames between the seal and my crewcab
