Ohio, 1988 Chevy C3500 with 5.7 . Looking for the Shifter Linkage that connects to a 700R4. Visuals for reference. Thanks in advance!

Here ya go. My truck is an '89, so should be compatible, although it's LS/4L60E swapped. Trans. is almost identical, externally, to the 700R4, and sits in the same position as well. No mods were needed to install the shift linkage

Sorry 'bout that. My bad. I'm going to a boneyard next week to check out a '90 2500. It's automatic, so the linkage should still be there. I'll let you know

GM was stupid enough to put a 700 R4 into a tonner truck???

I'd have expected a TH400/3L80.
I'm thinking maybe he's looking for the linkage because he swapped a 700R4 into the truck. Wouldn't have been my first choice, that's for sure, but sometimes you work with what ya got.
