I think that shortening the uca's is a mistake. It will reduce the amount of travel the uca gets and it causes different camber issues. The uca is already the shortest link up front so it will see the most bj angle change. When I built my models to understand what different length changes would do I noticed that shortening the upper sucked but lengthening it would be a problem because of fender clearance issues. So I shortened my lca 1" and sunk my uca mounts into the frame 1/2", instead of shortening them.
