understood, im just looking at thecheaper options on TRS right now because ive never done this and if i mess up i dont want it to be a ton of money down the hole. both my his and lows without glare caps or in general are very scattered, not aimed whatsoever, i still have an immense amount of light output but if it was less scattered i feel itd benefit me even more and thats what im looking for. the cheaper housings for now to get an idea and grasp of what im doing and then some time in the future go al out. only thing is idlike to keep my HIDs i have now because i paid quite a bit for them, so i think just using the shields and lenses would be the best bet to cut and adhere to the backing of the lense.
