How much to regear a 96 c1500??? I'm hoping to get 35's and go up to 4.56 but I might save up and go with 33's with stock 3.42 until I get enough cash depending on how much y'all believe it will be???

Parts will cost you roughly $300 or so. If you had a shop do it, your prob looking at $750-$1000. Ive never had an axle regeared, but these are just some rough estimates i came across while researching the topic before.

$600. That's about half of the price for a normal 4x4 regear including the install.

So a front and rear 4x4 regear would be about $1200 out the door?

It honestly depends completely on what kind of gears you get and who you have install it. That's a completely rough average estimate.

Well yeah. I read $1000-$1500 depending on brand and installer. So your estimate is in the ballpark i had always heard about.

I charge $400 per axle out of the truck and $600 per axle inside the truck. IFS diff I add an extra $200 due to having to pull the diff out of the truck to re-gear. This is strickly labor.
