alright, needing to know some info and some help about a rear axle swap. I have a 1992 C1500 with an open rear end. Unsure of the gear ratio but runs roughly about 1700 RPM going about 60mph. I am wanting to do the 5 to 6 lug swap, but also to a posi type rear end. Maybe a beefier rear end as well? (12/14 bolt.. what ever I can use to work)
What kind of rear end, and what vehicle will I need to be a donor?
I will add the C2500 6 lug front rotors and the 6 lug rear end.
Will the stock 4x4 size tires with 16 inch rims fit on a stock c1500 because it is lower? I mean size of tires not rims.
