Not unless you plan on just using the block. The 95 has a totally different wiring harness than the 88-94s as well as the 96-00s. Pretty much everything electrical / fuel injection / ecm are not usable on any other year.

Why do you want to use one from 95? Is it just that you have it available? If it is, than get prepared for some work. If not, keep looking man. Used 350s are cheap.

my 305 is blowing blue and has low compression on 2 cylinders and it's available for a cost of a tow, I can't swap the sensors off the 305 in place in the 350's ones? and the 1995 ecm obd 1.5 wont plug in place of the 88 obd 1 correct? also the 95 is a 2 wheel drive and mine is 4 wheel

the block and internals will swap.... the heads should as well and the intake mani. I'm not 100% but the tbi should plug in fine. His tranny is of no use to you. You may have to swap the fly wheel from your 305 onto the 350 so that the torque converters line up and mount right, but they may be the same. I'm not going say either way without looking at them. The wiring 350 harness wont work on your 305, but the 305 harness should swap ok to the 350. Again with that one, I'm not positive. I'm thinking as I type. Your comp may not control the flow rate on the tbi for the added displacement. I would think that the sensors in place for the ecu to know whats going on would make it find its happy place, but I'm not sure. I'm sure someone on here may know better.

A free 350 is hard to pass up for a 305 guy, but its not going to be an easy job.

the engine is it own seperate harness from the transmission, I could just swap the harness since I get the entire 2 wheel drive truck, it's just recently was rolled 2 times but mechanically it's fine I'm figure use the 350 and change the harness if sensors don't work use the 350 computer on it might get an error code for the transmssion but mines mechanical so I'm not to worried, I figured the 305 flexplate would work on the 350, and very hard to pass up a 150 dollar truck thats runs good and was well maintained, good friends with owner he was on top of everything, thanks for the info thou see how it goes if I go to swap it
