INSTALLED A 5.3 CHEVY INTO A 95 GMC SIERRA. NEED AIR CONDITIONING. THE SANDEN COMPRESSOR IS PROBABLY WHAT I'LL INSTALL, BUT THERE WILL BE A PROBLEM. THE COMPRESSOR WILL BE IN THE WAY OF THE AIR INTAKE TUBE GOING TO THE THROTTLE BODY. ANY REMEDIES FOR THIS PROBLEM? HAS ANYBODY CUT OR TRIMMED THE AIR INTAKE IN ORDER TO MAKE THE COMPRESSOR FIT? ANYONE HAVE PHOTOS OF THIS? I KNOW STREET & PERFORMANCE DID THIS TO THEIR TAHOE PROJECT, BUT CAN'T PROVIDE ME ANY PHOTOS OF IT.

Why not slightly modify and use the stock 95 bracket and use the stock 95 A/C Compressor and Lines? It has been done MANY times.

EVEN IF I DO WHAT YOU SUGGEST, THE COMPRESSOR WILL STILL BE IN THE WAY OF THE AIR INTAKE TUBE. BY THE WAY, AWESOME TRUCK LEXTECH!

Where did you get that bracket? I'm dropping in a 5.3 into my 99 2dr tahoe soon.
