I saw a "sway bar" looking thing that was attached to the upper control arms via a regular shock absorber. The bar went up and over the engine to the other upper control arm. It was on a stock 4x4 chevy at a junkyard.

Anyone run across this before / know what it is called?

Yes. logical and practical on prerunners and dirt track cars but not so much on an otherwise stock 4x4

Fabtech and cst both made dual shock hoop tower. They were bolt on's for the 400's. I'm curious what it is!!!

That sounds logical, but original poster said it went from control arm to control arm.

Seeing that shock tower and cross over bar, I want that for my truck!! That just screams mean!!!
