Question about 700R4 and 4L60E

I have a 93 C1500 2WD with 350 auto. From what I understand I have a 4L60E in it. I have a 700R4 from a 90 C1500 I thought about rebuilding and putting it in the 93 but I don't know if it will work with the computer and harness. If anyone could tell me if the 700 will work in the 93 or what all is involved in changing it out to make it work. Thanks.

I would but I am to do it as quick as possible, like a couple hours turn around. I haven't rebuilt a transmission in about ten years so I would have to take my time doing that. Its my main means of transportation since it has AC and my other truck doesn't, West Texas heat is killer nowadays. lol.

I was afraid of that. I guess that's what I will do when third and fourth finally give out.
