This whole next week I will be performing a complete Wet-Sand, Cut and Buff on my father-in-laws '91 Acura Integra. He'll have my truck for the week.
Before we swap vehicles I'll throw on my old Wheels and Tires, allowing me to work on my Denali Wheels throughout the week.
The current condition of the wheels:
Here's my plan... PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG
* Strip clear-coat (Which method is best?)
* Remove scratches/flaws via buffing
* Buff to a mirror shine
* 2-3 Coats of clear
I'm no professional, which is why I ask the following:
If I buff them to a mirror shine (followed by clear-coat) would the CC stick?
It'd be a slippery surface?
Any tips would be appreciated!
