Would you recommend them, is the sound different? Better throttle response?

I have no idea, they went in with the new crate motor along with a full stainless magnaflow system, built trans, etc etc.

The new engine is a lot snappier than the old rod knocking one if that helps :p

Thanks, I enjoyed it lifted but it is much more fun to drive now.
To be honest it sits most of the time. I have only driven it about 100 miles over the past 3 months.

I look at these and see more electronics to **** up. Still sexy though...

That's one of the reasons I stopped mudding in my truck, at least hardcore like I used to anyways. It's my daily driver and so far my only transportation. I plan to get an 87 or older Chevy or GMC as a mud truck. That way I won't have to worry about computers, already has a straight front axle and easier to find one with a manual. If only my first truck (86 Chevy C10 manual) would have been 4x4 I would have kept it as a 2nd truck when I got my 98.
