the only time a gmt400 shouldn't have a valance is if you have a replacement winch bumper or you just drove thru a ditch and ripped it of and the new one you just ordered is on its way!

Well I've offloaded the 94 ALOT with a valance and its still there! And it'll be coming off soon when the winch bumper goes on!!! And I think the 97 looks much cleaner with it on!

Maybe I'm just sensitive, or it was extra windy that day, but has anyone noticed your truck being a little less stable(or more sensitive to cross-winds)with your valance removed? I took mine off and a couple times have noticed it seems less stable at interstate speed.
