Passlock / Security Mode question

Have a 1998 C1500 that has had Security mode issues. Im personally not smart enough to want to mess with the wires so i was wondering since its a 1998, can someone with HP tuners go in and disable the Security Mode stuff or is it only blackbear tuning??

Yes hp tuners can do a 98, I had one done about 2 weeks ago.

HPTuners, EFILive, or JET DST should all be able to disable the Passlock on a '98.
