PAC aux adapter in stock radio help

been awhile since I've been on here, good to be back i just bought a gmc 99 classic 1500 z71 and i want to keep the stock radiowith an aux, i've read the link on how to do it but seems much easier to buy something from PAC I just dont understand which one, im sick of after market radios and I'm just trying to find out how these pac things work this one seems like the best idea just wondering if anyone has bought one or if it will work on my truck that has cd but not ext cd player thanks

am not sure on what you listed, hopefully others will chime in on that.... but i went through the same thing and wanted factory stereo and and the aux port. I got mine gm refurbished from ebay with the port added into the factory head unit and ive had it over a year now and love it.

thanks for the info this guys done the hard work for you i think ill go with that my cd player doesnt work and i was going to replace it with a stock one and buy the PAC but this makes more sense haha

Its the PAC GM9 adapter. I bought mine on ebay for like $35. You need a CD in the CD player for it to work so you are going to need a working player from the junkyard.

The GM9 has two inputs, I have one with a headphone jack and the other hooked up to an auxiliary LCD unit with SD card, USB drive, and bluetooth inputs.

Edit. Never mind. I didn't see that you don't have the separate cd/tape player.
