On my 98' K1500, I would sometimes get a cylinder misfire code on cylinder 6, but it would go away within a day and stay away for some time. In past couple weeks, I have got the P0430 code twice. I live in a state where emissions are required, so I dont think those anti-fowl plugs would work (or get me in trouble).
What is the best way of troubleshooting this? The intake gasket was replace a couple years back. Would it be related to the misfire that is very infrequent? I did run some fuel injector cleaner through the gas tank a month ago. Seems to run fine, and idle file too - nothing rough.
Appreciate any guidance before eyeballing the expensive cat.
