Built, not bought.
Alright, so I've had it with this oil leak. It comes and goes. It didn't leak for over a week, but then it dropped over a quart in two days. It's a little bit to the right from center (from where it's hitting the concrete) and about a foot back from the front wheels. Anyone have any suggestions?
The bottom of the truck is so dirty and greasy that I can't tell where it's dripping from. I'm thinking I might just change my head gaskets and oil pan gaskets. Any suggestions as to main problem areas for these, or things I should check? Advice for changing those gaskets, or things I should do while I'm there?
I've searched and saw that it's suggested you change the oil pump and screen when the pan is dropped. Is that difficult? Anyways, truck is running fine, no heat or oil pressure issues, it's just leaking.
Thanks for the help.
