Looking at replacement mirrors. Parts Geek has Action Crash and Dorman but at a fairly different price. Wanting to go back to the original sail type mirror. Any advice as to witch way to go?

What do you mean by "sail" type mirrors? You didn't mention what year truck or equipment package, so it's hard to tell.

The 88-94 steel pickup mirrors, generally any brand is similar quality.
Mid-94-up plastic pickup folding mirrors, generally all aftermarket copies are crap. Period. They vibrate and the fold joint gets loose.

Yes you are right, I did neglect to give much needed info. It is a 1993 k2500 Silverado. It had the steel mirrors on it originally.
