Need opinions on tire size

I going to be dropping the truck 5/8 for now and Im going with black steels powedercoated black with either whitewalls or tires with just the thin white stripe. I want a tire that will fill the fenderwell pretty good but not so big that it will scrape my fenders on bumps.

Here are a couple of sizes Im considering
235/65 27.0"
235/60 26.1"
245/60 26.6"
255/60 27.0" (my first choice)

My current tires are 255/35/20 which is a 27.0" tall tire

what do you guys suggest?

I think the 255 will look the best in there IMO

yea thats what I was thinking. I know alot of people run them with a 4" drop up front but I havent seen any with a 5" drop

I'm probably the wrong person to give an opinion as I haven't spent a lot of time around lowered rigs and have yet to own one but I don't think you'll have any problems with them.

255/60's my old man has them on his stock height 84 c10 with some reversed offset cragar ss wheels.

I Have a 5 inch drop!! you gonna stay with your 20s or you goin to a 15 or somethin?

acually im bagging the front now and either a 8" or 10" drop out back with helpers for right now. Im going to run some 15x7 steels powdercoated black. The 20s would work but I hate them. I had 20s on my first ext cab with a 5/8 with this same wheel/tire size and it was perfect. But like I said, I hate these wheels. :LOL:
