Need Help! Issue while towing

Hey Guys

I'm currently towing a heavy dual axle trailer (on the road now) and I've got an issue. All the running lights on the trailer went dark, but the taillights work when I press the brake pedal and turn signals. Same with my truck, the parking lights in the front won't turn on unless I use the turn signal, tailights won't illuminate unless the brake pedal is pushed or turn signals are used.

Fuse? Wiring? Any specific info would be appreciated! I need to figure this out before it gets dark...

Check the fuses

pull the connector apart and reconnect it is step one.

Then fuses.

Then bulbs and sockets.

Then wiring.

Then grounds.

If those are all good, you're in deeper than a typical "field fix".

Does the truck only do it while the trailer lights are plugged into it? That should tell ya if it's the truck or the trailer. If it seems to be a trailer problem I'd take a good look at the grounds that's where I usually find my problems
