NBS mirrors on a OBS (not the tow mirrors)

Anyone tried installing NBS mirrors on their OBS?
I see threads for the tow mirrors but I don't need or like the looks of them.
I'm talking about these:

vs. these:

I don't know who this belongs to but he did it. I can't find any info on it.
The NBS mirrors look much better than the factory mirrors.

I may have to just get the NBS ones and give it a try. I might have to trim a little to make them work.

I like the factory ones better. Round mirrors on a square truck...meh

You might want to look at the gmt800 retrofit threads. Aren't the mounting bases the same between the regular and towing mirrors on the 800s?

Now that I really compared the blue Tahoe to a stock Tahoe......I think your right.
The round mirrors do look a little out of place. My truck is basically stock appearing so round mirrors would probably stand out even more.
I'll have to ponder this a little more.

I like half-asseds tahoe/yukon better- it still has the GMT-400 bumper on it.... and the GMT-400 mirrors and it just looks better overall

I'd say stick with the stockers

I think it looks pretty good. Give it a shot, almost anything is better than the puny factory mirrors...

Why? The stock 400 mirrors look better than the 800 mirrors
