Nbs Bumper Installed

I found a 2001 chrome bumper, will this work for my truck using my brackets or will I have to raise it?
And how do I bring it up to stock level if that is the case...thanks

I did this on my truck using the gmt800 brackets tucks up nicely. Havent got around to a write up

Thats the bumper brackets that come with that bumper and mine came from a gmt800 truck not suv. Ill try to get pics this weekend to go with my explanation to hopefully make sense

Thanks, am installing it now. the brackets came with it, but the bumper is an o3 off a 3500. my frame width is 37 3/4 and the bumper center support is 41 3/4. looks like i can use the end brackets / then I need to drill through the top of the bumper to mount it to the frame ext. am taking pictures as I go/ will post them later

I made roughly 3 inch spacers and bolted mine up

Stupid question:

Didn't the NBS bumpers tend to rust quite readily, e.g., due to salt? I seem to remember there was some issue with them in that regard.

Obviously not much of a concern in the southern states, but...

Comments anyone?

just finished it, bumper is to low and does not match up with the body lines.
It will do for now.
In till I will figure a way to move it up a couple of inches.

It came with the truck when I bought it. I think it was part of the stock package
