NBS 4l60e into our OBS trucks

I have a 1998 Tahoe. 5.7 with the 4L60e and what I believe is a 2 piece bellhousing. My friend has a V8 performance shop and he has a 01 silverado's 4x4 4L60e. My sunshell is currently bad. I want to know whether or not anyone has successfully swapped a NBS 4L60e into our trucks.
