My truck is 1998 gmc 1500 4x4 with a current setup of 6in rc lift and 3in body lift with Reallift torsion bar drop brackets delete kit. Tire and rim setup is 40x15.50 and 24x14. So far I done 4.88 gears in the rear and the engine and trans are stock.
I’m slowly getting parts together for my sas build. I got my hands on a 1 ton Ford Dana 60 king pin high pinion front diff with 36.5 springs centers. Looking for a 14 bolt rear in to swap the rear right now. First thing I’m trying to get a good understanding of is choosing the length of the front springs. Which is better 47” vs. 52” springs. I’m thinking of going with a 6in lift springs with ORD bracket kit to give me around 9in of lift plus my 3in body I have now.
