I have some similar broken piston pics from when my motor went back in 1995. Broken piston, broken crank, & bent connecting rod.

You made me go and post on the 454SS site today. I told 'em you were raising hell over here and made me do it :D

What did you use on the frame ?
Wire brush, scraper, then primer with some paint. Keep in mind its not staying. When I pressure wash it, anywhere that there is oil the primer and paint will come off, making it easy for an old man to see whats not clean.

I apologize to everyone, I cant figure out why the order of pictures keeps coming out backwards.

My comments on the block:

7 bores would have been a simple hone and new rings.

#3 bore is the broken piston bore. It will have to be .30 over, maybe .60, depends on the cost of pistons and how far I have to bore it to make a straight bore.

Crank is going to have to be .20, rods .10-20?ish.

Cam bearings are totaled, which were going to be changed anyway.

Line bore, chamfer crank, polish, yadda yadda yadda.

More to come, comments very welcome.
