89 C2500 350 Getrag and 4.10's got 13mpg on rear 33x10.5's driven from the time I was 14-16

95 K1500 305 4L60 and 3.42's got 21 on highway from the time I was 16-24. It got 18 if I took off like and idiot but cruised great.

I bet 3.42 and a NV4500 would be perfect.

TBI 350, nv3500, 3:42 gears. 265/75/16 tires. Depending in how I drive, I can average 17-18mpg. "Winter" months are about 16mpg.

'97 Suburban C1500. 18.5 highway and 15.5 combined with a 2600 stall converter and stock 3.42 gears. I think 20+ is doable with a custom tune and a few other mods.
