Looking for numbers mainly on 5 speed guys. Looking at some 5 speed z71s with 350's, I drive mainly hwy with a little bit of city. Auto numbers would be nice too.

Well I have the 4l60e auto, with 40" rubber, 20x12's and 5.13's in the axles. I'm getting between 10 -12 mpg with a custom tune done by a local shop.

'96 5.7L Vortec, Z71, 4L60E, 3.73 G80, 2.25" duals with dual in/dual out 50 series flowmaster, 265/75-16 mild all terrains in the summer, snows in the winter.

I get 16mpg in the summer (A/C on) and less in the winter. I get 11 to 12mpg (no overdrive) towing 5000 to 6000lbs.

By the way, I do not go slow. I push my truck hard.

The less mpgs in colder weather is due to winter blend fuel :deal:

Even with the same fuel colder air is denser meaning more air into the engine which equals more fuel needed but the winter blend exaggerates it even more.
