manual to auto doors/lock

1996 Chevy crew cab wanting to add auto doors/locks i have the driver to done (probably not correct)
orange an yellow to hot, black to ground, did not get to finish the lock still lost on the colors.
Now the passenger side i am having trouble with the haynes manual for my are hard to read an cant find much online about this. I did get a harness from a 1997 suburban also where the doors are from but i cut some wires hoping it would help an after cutting a few i started to get lost.

any help is appreciated also have to do both back doors

If you're doing this with aftermarket parts, your best bet is to just use what came with it, and not try to get fancy by cutting wires; take it from me that's the best way to screw stuff up, getting lost.

You'll need to give us some more details and we can help you ... if you've not gone too far off the end and cut things up that you'll need.
