I guess it's time for a build thread.

"Old Red" 1998 with the Vortec 350. 195,000 miles. Bone stock. Until I got ahold of it! Muuuuuuhaaaaaahaaaaaahahaaaa!!!!!

On the lot where I found her. Literally just traded in and parked at the back of the lot.

I agree, you can't leave us hanging with pictures like that and not explain!! Both are nice looking trucks.

Yeah, I explained the carnage in my intro thread.

http://www.gmt400.com/threads/tacoma-guy-from-pa.34666/

But long and short: Ping ponged off a telephone pole, made a sweet jump and landed on top of a Chevy Cruze.

Some more pics, because who doesn't like mayhem? :D

It was either the house or the Chevy. I think this worked out better.

CB took it hard. Only lost the speaker though.

So basically I need a fender and a complete door. The bumper was "massaged" back into place but could be replaced also. I already replaced the passenger tail light. The passenger bedside has damage also but just letting it slide for now. I found a fender for $50 and a door for $75. Just a matter of getting them and installing. Paint to come after that. I want to do my own paint. I'm pretty good at spray cans and have the basic knowledge and I'm willing to buy the equipment to get it done. Thinking a satin black or a flat dessert sand color. But. I have other things to do as of now.

Completed a few small mods over the last couple of days.

Couldn't stand the terrible paint at the base of the tail gate so I hit it with the ever popular flat black. Also put a fresh coat on the bed rack and installed the lights.

Trying to fix some things from the wreck without buying anything. Came up with this to mask a crack in the reflector. Then did the same to the others to match.

Came up with this overhead net with some paracord I had laying around. It's not pretty but it works. I plan on having more things mounted overhead using the same bolts.

put the air box back on for "cold" air...an open box makes it suck in hot under hood air, gm actually designed the factory box quite well.
