Lifting a 1500 Suburban 1500

Whats the easiest - cheapest way to lift a 1500 Suburban 4x4 - 4/6 inches? Whats the best?

Cheapest is an RCX best is a SAS

Altho you can get around 4.5 out of a block and crank and 3 inch BL

Solid axle swap will be your most durable but most expensive unless u fabricate most of the parts yourself. A good suspension lift with all new frontend components will work fine also depending on what your doing with it. So what size tires are you trying to run? And what are your plans for the truck?

I was going to go simple. A 285 /75/16. Maybe one size bigger a 305. I just need enough to clear those tires and look aggressive.

I also need to keep the lift cost under $1k

Sounds like you want a block and crank

Or do a body lift. If your just trying to get them to clear. Unless you go with 285s those will clear on stock height with stock back spaced wheels
