Hm. I guess it might since it is like really fine sand paper. They will have a minty fresh smell afterwards too! Lol

I tried toothpaste and it didnt do anything to the headlights. In paint class we sanded the headlights and sprayed clear coat over them

Clear coat works best. my cousin does all of ours with ppg global.
