Just get the spindles, dont buy the whole kit because you dont need the blocks in the back, however, you are popping top and bottom ball joints off, I would replace those (Moog) and put on new wheel bearings (Timken Bearings) and A new wheel seal ( i would just slam on a new rotor too because it gets messy) and if you got money, check the rest of the suspension, if its old and beat, swap it out!

thanks for the help man. i appreciate it. i guess i will be saving up for this one. cause i already need new pads and rotors. i guess its a good thing that i work in a gm parts warehouse lol. what shocks would you recommend for the front with the 4 inch spindles.

another question. could i swap in 3/4 ton springs up front, ones from a 6.5 turbo dually, and would that lift up the front any. or would it just be a waste.

idk about the 3/4 ton springs but i would buy the spindles separate because it would end up being cheaper. stock replacement shocks of choice and rear blocks in whatever size you may like

spindles dont affect shock size? and im not lifting the rear any unless i cant fit a 285 back there. but thats the biggest i want to run and that will be much later on.

Not from what I have seen, the spacing in the control arm is the same iirc, I think Hunter is running that on his lifted 2wd

I like Bilstein shocks they're good quality, they last, and It tightens up the ride a bit, i dont like a squishy ride on a truck/tahoe. I believe for your application, you wanna get the BIlstein 4600

and heres a little info on them.

Get the RC 4" kit and some 5/5 to 6/5.5 2" wheels spacers for the rear, light duty 2500 rotors up front. I had to run the .25" spacer up from to clear the spindles, but you can also grind the spindle down slightly for clearance. 265's won't rub and will look great on there. Good luck, lmk if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to help you!
