I just ordered some new head light housings and had an idea I'd like to try if possible. I'm new to leds and don't know what can be done with them but I wanna try replacing the turn signals and parking lamps with amber leds. Is this possible? Do they make leds that just plug right in like those bulbs? Where is the cheapest place to get good leds? Thanks!

These are the housings I ordered:

These for the corners: http://www.superbrightleds.com/more...led-bulb-5-smd-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/206/

These for the parking lamps: http://www.superbrightleds.com/more...led-bulb-dual-intensity-18-smd-led-tower/811/

You could use any LED 194/1157 I suppose, but those would be best IMO. They're all pretty pricey.

And yes you may need a new flasher if you experience hyper flash which is common when switching to LED turn signals.

You can just wire a resistor in and then you don't have to change the flasher

Yes you can also put in a load resistor which will simulate the load a halogen bulb creates. Flasher's a better option though IMO

So replace the current flasher with one of the led friendly ones to prevent fast blink? Anyone know any cheap led sites?
