I appreciate all of the information, I guess people have been hating me for years then because I have had aftermatket HIDs in almost all of my cars and no one has ever said anything to me about being blinded nor do I get flashed. This all sounds alot like halogen lights the first few years manufacturers started using them. I remember people saying they hated them and they were too bright to look at for oncoming traffic. So much for getting an opinion from anyone that has used led headlight bulbs, they probably wouldn't post about it now. Well I will post my findings and my opinions on them when they get here. Hate me if you want too but I am just trying to clearly see down the dark roads and back streets as well as the dark off road trails. Someone already said they would throw ball bearings or rocks at me in another post if they saw my truck coming at them on the road with all of my lights on, lol. Those extra lights are mainly for trails so I guess some people miss the point. My truck is not a daily driver, although it could be. It is pretty much purpose built for trails/ mud fun and camping. I do drive it whenever I want and have been right behind police in intersections as well as facing police going the other direction in an intersection, so I am pretty sure if they were that bad or dangerous they would have let me know. Did I mention I live in Glendale, AZ and I have had a police officer tear an aftermarket license plate light off my car when my factory light stopped working because he said it emitted light to the rear of my vehicle. So they are not afraid to let people around here know when they don't like something or think it is unsafe and illegal. By the way the aftermarket license plate was a 90 degree light pointing down the face of my plate not facing rearward and I fought it in court and had it dismissed although my wiring was still jacked up since the cop literally ripped it of my car!
