If you have a 4L60 (formally known as a 700R4), a 4L60E should swap in provided your pcm is still programmed to control it and wiring harness is complete and intact.

If you have a 4L80E, you would need to purchase a segment swap and install via hp tuners plus move x member, purchase longer driveshaft with 27 spline slip yoke, etc.

But no one in their right mind would go from an 80 to a 60...

1994 K2500 (6 lug 2500 aka "light duty", 7200lb gvwr) would have a 4L60E already. Not all years of 4L60E's are compatible if you are asking because you are hunting a used replacement transmission. Tell us more, please

Not possible (not from factory, anyway.) You're either calling it the wrong name or you're mistaken about what it is, but OK..

Your thread subject is "Info needed" and I agree

Well I know for a fact it is and I have had this truck for 28 yrs. I have had the trany out already and as sure as I am typing this it is a 4l60 not a 4l60e or any other trany. So I think you are mistaken sir.
