Dude. My plug wires are zip-tied into bunches for convenience....

and that convenience could very well be your problem they really aren't supposed to touch

Bad, bad, bad. Get some new DELPHI plugs wires, and 3 sets of wire separators.

Needs to look like this, I used sixteen spacers.

Son of a motherf!($&%%#@!&~. Wait, so that kills plug wires? Or do they just interfere with each other?

When they get hot they'll start leaking voltage to eachother, causing other plugs to fire and killing your ignition cycle.

I believe its interference but I'm sure it's not good for them either could maybe prematurely wear them out

I'd be willing to bet that if you mist them with water at night in the dark you'll see the sparks jumping from wire to wire.
