Since my concrete slab didn't get poured and the 262 only had to stay in service until spring, naturally it waited until I filled the gas tank to lose its' fuel pump at 155k. By now I've got 350 fever so bad that I'm dangerous. Er. Morether dangerous.
I am very seriously considering ditching the spindles in favor of springs. How bad is it to run v-6 springs after a v-8 transplant? Not bad...think I'll swap spindles out of the smashed truck and try to level it with springs in front. Input anyone?
When I get back to work in on this next year I'll start a dedicated build thread. Guaranteed coolness will result. I have a vision.
