Im looking at a 1999 gmc 3500 6.5 turbo diesel with a 5 speed

But the 5 speed needs rebuilt or replaced anyone know how much this would be ?

You're probably going to have to do your homework on this one.

Whats it doing? Do you really know it needs a rebuild or are you guessing?


Some people have the clutch go out and it causes all kinds of weird issues like; grinding gears, hard to shift, slipping under load, will not move at all, etc.

Make sure you are certain it needs a rebuild before you spend $1k+ to have a transmission rebuilt.
