Why oh WHY did the creators of the GMT400 put that ugly ass rear step on these step sides, its so close to the bumper, I'd probably end up using the bumper as a step instead anyways.

So that the stepside trucks use the same bumper as the fleetside. That is all.

Well the body may be rust free but being from New York you sure as hell know the frame isn't!
