I got a look underneath a little bit ago. The exhaust is certainly hashed together on the passenger side downpipe. It'll probably need new from the logs back. I definitely don't want to go the straight pipe route. Probably going to keep it stock save for maybe a Flowmaster.

Probably single...there's really no reason for me to go dual.

Had a "Jeebus" moment in the 'hoe' a little bit ago...

So I thought it was kinda down on power.

Tonight, I realized that I forgot to drop my rent off at the management office (about 10 miles away).

On the way home, I had to get in front of this idiot in a Caravan, so I pushed the gas to the floor.

What I didn't realize (and the reason I thought it was down on power) was that I didn't have it pushed to the floor. I had it pushed to what I assume was the kickdown. So, I pushed it ALL the way down.

The noise was...glorious. The torque was...electrifying. It honestly kind of scares me.

Welcome!
It's fun to be scared! That's why people jump outa airplanes, ski down stupid steep slopes, drive @ 200mph on Bonneville.

O-H!!! Welcome from a fellow Buckeye, although I'm currently 4k miles away. My fiance lives ~15 mins from Columbus. I went to OSU for a bit before joining the USAF.

But yes, PICS! haha We are always pic hungry here. Good luck with the project! We are all here to help and if you have any questions let us know!

:welcome:

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome!

Airman, I-O, and thanks for your service! I live on the faaar West Side, in Lincoln Village just off West Broad Street. I say far west, because anything east of...say, the Casino is pretty shifty.

Anyhow, my drivability issues came back with a frickin vengeance tonight. The only time it wants to fire on all cylinders is at WOT. Otherwise, it just wants to sputter and miss. It sputters and misses at anything less than 2500rpm when you stomp it...2500 rolls around, it's almost as though a switch has been flipped. It...barks, for lack of a better word, and will pull all the way to redline. It's also running hella rich because the burnt fuel smell coming from the exhaust would make a Saudi prince change pants.

Got the codes read on the way home, and got P0154 (O2; bank 2 sensor 1, no activity), P0140 (O2; bank 1 sensor 2, no activity), and P0304 (Cyl 4 misfire).

Seeing as how I am missing a huge piece of the fueling puzzle (my bank 2 upstream O2 sensor), I am going to have to figure out the bank two exhaust from the manifold back. The section of pipe where the upstream O2 would go is apparently not how it should be, so fueling on bank 2 is probably sketchy at best. I just don't understand why it would run OK for two days, then revert back to running like crap. If I have to take it to an exhaust shop, I hope I don't get reamed...

Yeah she is actually from Grove City-ish but has family all over up there. I graduated from High School bout 1hr south.

O2 sensors can be shifty sometimes. They would cause it to run rich, and other things too. Not sure on the misfire.

I actually work just north of Grove City off Frank Road.

I got the idea to check for people who do exhaust work on craigslist, and actually turned up a few results, so I can call around and see if I can avoid paying out the wazoo.
