I did mesure cround clearance on my -90 fleetside 4x4, under front axel, lowest point. And get 12" ? i have 31" tires. gm notify its 8,6". You see the stance its normal, and not lift up.
Normal or what ? i have rpo F44 hd leafsprings.

Your fine. I probably have about 12" under mine. The clearance between the axle and the ground is entirely dependant on tire diameter. So the stock tire size for these trucks is either 225/75r16 (if you have 16"rims). I think they are about 28-29 inches tall and that's what GM bases their specs on.
