Ok not sure where this should go but I know the spindles are almost bolt on but what else is, what I want to do with my 88 RCSB 4x4 there is a ton more support for 800s than 400s, I wondered what all could cross over? Real question is front control arms and rear springs, I traded my 800 crew cab or I would just swap some parts and find out forsure.

No one can help, don't worry it will be cool and slightly taller than stock. I want to make it FAST(90+) on gravels and minimum maintenance roads.

I do believe that the suspension components of a GMT 800 will not work on a 400. Spindles an bearings are all different, shock location an all that. Idk if anybodys tried doing a crossover to see what fits. Prolly what I would do is just install a lift kit an call it good that seeing through all the trouble of what 800 stuff works on 400s.

There is a write up on here about the spindles and swapping them over. Think im going to just hit up a pick and pull yard for some arms and see what I can come up with. One of the main reasons to what I want to do is that I will be the only one with that setup. Why am I a dbag for wanting a mid travel on my truck. Jeep is fun though.

Thanks for the links but that guy has a 3500, I'm working with a 1500. Still read through, pretty sweet.
