Looking for help. I own a 99 GMC Suburban 1500 w a 5.7L Vortec 4x4....vin# 3GKFK16R7XG508671

Is this a GMT425 platform maybe? Pretty sure it was built in Mexico.
Or is it GMT800 platform?

Thanks for help:)

I am pretty sure there weren't any 1500's with a 5.7 that were gmt800's. How about a pic?

It's a 400. The 800 Suburban didn't start until 2000, and then you wouln't have a Vortec 350.

Yes, it was built in Mexico... anytime the VIN starts with a 3, it's from Mexico, unless it's made prior to 1981 before it was standardized.
