Drove a mildly tuned R33 Skyline GT-R Spec-V.......fuken whoa.....that was sick. AWD+twin turbos+a very sorted chassis= sexy good time. I would lose my licence too quick if I owned a Skyline.

I don't like the cars but they are incredible. Its amazing how easy they are to drive.

Hey man I've got some experience on the gen 1 and 2 Vipers. 98 means aluminum block 8.0 at 450hp factory I believe. Hopefully you got the GTS. We built a twin turbo gen 2 and on break in tune it scared the crap outta me. I took it down the road to check everything out and at 7-8psi, 1/2 throttle the ass end broke loose in 3rd. I never buried it, don't know that I had enough room even on break in tune to hold it more than a few seconds. It spooled up lightening quick, zero noticeable lag. In my opinion the gen 2 GTS is the sexiest car ever built in the states. There is a Dodge dealership a few miles from me now. I went over and they had a gen 4 Viper sitting next to a gen 5 Vette, the things could have swapped badges and not many people would notice. I like the new 8.3 and 6060 trans but to me the car is just, kinda plain. No sexy curves or exotic body lines.

Well the car is a 1-owner GTS and as far as I know an R clone, paint doesn't match the white/blue-striped GTS-R, it's been re-painted in "shadow blue"(looks black), but it has all the real carbon fiber body panels and such that the R came with. It's sitting at 460hp due to the smoothy air ducts.

Psssh vipers, everytime I shift gears in one of those my knee hits the steering wheel. New or old it don't matter they are too small for me.

Haha ya I know the feeling, I'm 6'4" and every time I climb behind the wheel of my dad's Vette, my knees are at my stomach

I have an Opel GT in the garage, I rarely drive it because I'm so cramped left-to-right....it may not have molded buckets that hold you in place, but damn if you're leaning against the door panels in tight turns :p

Thats cheap for a Lambo

Yeah, especially one of those models, extremely rare.

Sure that that's not a kit car? Looks like mid-'80's vette wheels on it.

I saw that too, the only other one I've seen in person had DEEEEEEP dish gold anodized wheels. So deep dished that you had to get down on all fours to see the lug nuts. That's crazy!

It has the GTS-R rear diffuser? That's like a 5k dollar piece.

And I'm pretty current on most Vipers but the R isn't one of them. Didn't they have 3 piece BBS wheels? And I think the interiors were stripped with 3/4 cages, right? I didn't think the GTS-R was street legal. I'm gonna go look it up, got me curious.

No, the R was ONLY available to racing teams, NOT for civilian sales, you HAD to be a currently licensed GT class race team. No it's not 100% cloned, it has standard black gts interior, chrome gts wheels, etc.

Can't wait to see it. So it doesn't have the rear diffuser, but does it have the front wing or side panels? Deck lid wing?

Exterior is R-specced except for wheels and paint pretty much....just not caged and has full standard interior.
