I want these (almost 35") tires to fit on my truck with a 3-inch lift currently have 285 75 r16 with an abundance of space and it looks like I could fit them but I was curious if anyone else has tried these. Honestly don't really need em just curious

4.5" lift knuckles fit 315's with no rubbing after I trimmed the front valence.
3" lift won't be enough. It's not the space above the tire, it's fender clearance when turning, especially at the rear of the tire. Any kind of wheel offset will be detrimental.

Is it a 3" body lift or a 3" keys/crank lift? People with a 3" body lift can usually fit 35s but cranking won't get you high enough without trimming. It has a lot to do with wheel choice though, the wider/more they stick out the more you are going to have to trim.

Trimming isn't so bad, I trimmed the bumper and back of my fenders to fit 37s on a 6" lift with aftermarket wheels and spacers. You can hardly tell if you do it right.

Your gears are what's going to suck though. 33s are about as tall as you should go with factory gearing, I had 3.42 and 33s before my lift and even that was way too high. Now I have 4.88 with 37s and it's like a whole different truck.

What is your OE wheel width and offset?

My truck came with the 2500HD aluminum SF-1 wheels. They are 16x6.5+28. I don’t know what the original size of the original steelies were that came with my C3500.
I have some slight rub with my LT245/75R16 that are currently installed. It’s just the sway bar the tire makes contact with.

Forgot to mention I have a 4.5” spinal lift and 4” rear block. I’d like to do a 265/75R16 with these SF-1 wheels. I am afraid the offset of +28 will be too close.

What spacers did you use on the front?
