Factory tow mirrors?

My C2500 454 has tow mirrors. They are stainless and really nice. I can try to get a picture today. My question is: are they factory? There are nice plastic covers where the factory mirrors go. My friend says they are factory or at least dealer installed. I didn't think there was such a thing on these trucks. Has anyone else seen factory tow mirrors?

My ‘95 c3500 has the factory tow mirror option. Not amazing by todays standards but I like them and the look they give the truck

Those are just a few of the RPO's, there are about 8 different West Coast style mirrors.

Love that color btw! The gold I have is growing on me but it isn’t at the top of my lists lol

Color me surprised! So they stay since they are factory and I have DF2 on my Service Parts Identification. Next question is removal for paint. The 2 tone on mine needs the center section completely redone. The white is going fast. Are there welded nuts on the door skin or is it a nut and bolt situation?

I dug up a photo of my '88 C2500 when I just bought it ( Camper Special)...... It shows the factory/ dealer installed towing mirrors. I later changed them to the 'Wing' plastic version.

I found the mirror mounting studs were breaking due to the added 'leverage' against the mirrors from wind pressure..
